Welcome to GMAT Academy
Welcome to GMAT Academy

Hi, I'm Jason Jensen, President of GMAT Academy, and I just wanted to say welcome to GMAT Academy. If you're reading this, you're probably an ambitious, hard-working, and sometimes stressed out person who thoroughly prepares for the future, and at this particular moment, you're preparing for the GMAT exam. You've come to the right place!

Who We Are

I'm a father, I'm an entrepreneur, and I have a Masters of Business Administration degree (MBA) from the University of Utah. In 2014, I started working with CourseSaver, which provides online test prep videos and quiz questions for the DAT, MCAT, OAT, and PCAT exams. While working with CourseSaver, I couldn't help but think back to my own experiences trying to get into my MBA program. I had just finished my undergraduate degree a couple years prior, I was working full time trying to pay off debt and I didn't have a lot of time or money to spend on an overpriced GMAT test prep course. I wish I had something like CourseSaver to help me with the GMAT; something affordable, succinct, and online so I could study whenever I had a free moment.

In the summer of 2016, the time was right to officially form GMAT Academy LLC. We started searching for instructors, writing sample questions, and collecting video recordings of tutoring sessions.

Why Another GMAT Test Prep?

We know there are many GMAT test prep companies already out there that charge a substantial amount of money. They have to charge a lot because they have so many people working for their organization or they spend a lot of money on advertising. They may have a good quality GMAT prep system, but it comes at a very high cost.

On the other hand, there are also many GMAT test prep companies that are relatively cheap, but their quality may be poor or the review content may be fragmented and incomplete. It's very difficult to have a high-quality GMAT preparation course at an affordable price, but that's exactly what GMAT Academy intends to do. We know we can do it because we've done it before with the DAT, MCAT, OAT, and PCAT exams at CourseSaver.

Our Plan

For the foreseeable future, GMAT Academy will remain a free service for anyone looking to prepare themselves for the GMAT. We will regularly post video tutorials on analytical writing, integrated reasoning, quantitative, and verbal topics. We will develop our sample questions database and an online test format that mimics in every way the conditions you will face on the real test. We welcome your feedback as we grow!

Much like CourseSaver, we will rely heavily on word-of-mouth referrals. If you like what you see here at GMAT Academy, we invite you to tell all your friends and family about us. If there is something that could be better or that you'd like us to change, just let us know.

We don't want to be a huge company that does everything, we simply want to be a small company that does one thing very well - prepare you for the GMAT exam. We know that by keeping our costs low and focusing on providing high-quality videos and sample questions, GMAT Academy will soon be known as the place to go for everything you need to ace the GMAT.
